Sony Bravia
Sony KLV-40S550A

The sony does have a lot going for it, though, starting with the compact, straight-edged bezel design of the company’s more expensive sets. Sure, it lacks the fancy finish of the Z 450, but remains classily conspicous. The S-series also does without the slick Ps3-style user interface of sony’s pricker models, but the menu system is still clear and easily navigable. The bravia engine is the tv’s (very powerful) brain and 40s550a uses the second generation version. We don’t expect a slick ps-3 style menu, but the fact that the default one gets in the way when calibrating is a bit off, really. Some tv’s have USB connections capable of handling more than just JPEGs and MP3s , full HD and bravia engine -3 with live color.
SAMSUNG LED tv’s
samsung UA40B7000
A samsung actually has done a good job with their new range of LED TVs. When you get is a 40 in set, weighing a partly, 18.5kg with the stand. Once you power it on the red LED on the base of the set glows, almost welcoming you to a HD feast. There are 4HDMI ports, to connect all those HD ready devices and the 100HZ motion plus technology makes sure image come to you without any delays. A regular backlit remote is also provided to access more functions and LAN port is tucked away neatly on to the rear panel. And this is set supports wireless lan adaptors and make use of internet Tv.
Performance : The picture quality is impressive, as we found out while trying more than a few games via the ps3 xbox 360 and the Wii. The set excels at reproducing rich gaming worlds with authority and accuracy. Black levels were spot on and even in FPS games, the 100HZ tech made sure images came to us, quick and slick. The sound quality is impressive with 10w x 2 speakers and support for SRS Tru-surround HD. While playing movies on Blu-ray the UA40B7000 impresses with its luscious command over color reproduction in both well lit and night scenes. Enjoy with best quality.
