Canon has announced that it will expand its REALiS Multimedia LCOS Projector family by another two models, in the form of the WUX10 Mark II and SX80 Mark II. Both of these projectors will feature a new Image Mode that makes room for advanced color management and adjustments for ambient lighting conditions, making them the ideal solution for professionals who want the most discerning image quality needs, and this select group will include those in the fields of photography, education, engineering and the arts and sciences.

Photo Image Mode will allow users to take advantage of added flexibility in order to improve the look and feel of images being projected. With the newly introduced Ambient Light function, users can adjust for lighting conditions in a jiffy simply by selecting from easy-to-use presets for both the type of lighting (Tungsten, Fluorescent and Fluorescent H) and intensity (Low, Medium or High). These options will automatically adjust the settings to ensure optimum color reproduction and image quality when selected. Apart from that, Photo Image Mode also makes room for fine-tuning of both levels (intensity of colors) and color temperature, coming in easy-to-use presets.

The Canon REALiS WUX10 Mark II Multimedia Projector will come with WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) native resolution, 3,200 lumens of brightness and 16:10 widescreen aspect ratio. As for the Canon REALiS SX80 Mark II Multimedia Projector, this model will be of a slightly lower grade at SXGA+ (1,400 x 1,050) resolution, accompanied by multiple user-friendly features including PictBridge connectivity, 3,000 lumens of brightness, a wide selection of style=”color: red ! important; font-weight: 400; font-size: 11.2px; video audioinputs/outputs (HDMI and DVI included) and advanced LCOS technology. You will find the REALiS WUX10 Mark II Multimedia Projector to be rather pricey though at $12,999 each, while those on a tighter budget can settle for the REALiS SX80 Mark II Multimedia that will retail at a much more affordable $3,999. Both projectors are tipped to arrive in the market sometime this month, where each of them will come with Canon USA’s Three-Year Limited Warranty and an exclusive Projector Protection Program.

TRITTON AX 720

TRITTON AX 720 gaming audio system

AX-720

This isn’t the first time that we have covered one of TRITTON’s gaming headsets, and if the company keeps making c of this quality, then it won’t be the last, either.

Although the AX 720 is designed to work with the XBox, PS3, and PC, it certainly would give the gamer the most mileage if used with the first two. The AX720 includes a 720 AMP, and it is designed as a Dolby Digital recorder to place the gamer into a whole new realm of sound.

No software CD was included with the setup, but you will need to set it up with the optical cable if you really want to experience the full effect of the sound with the included AMP.
