This is made possible thanks to Panasonic’s advanced proprietary surround technology that is able to pump out Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD virtual 7.1-channel surround sound. A couple of front speakers that feature a new top mounted speaker design that further expands the listening area, were specially built using rigid, low-density bamboo cones in order to achieve pure sound and crisp dialogue no matter what movie you’re viewing. The Kelton-type subwoofer will ensure robust, reverberating bass for heart-thumping moments, while the 96-kHz Surround Re-master function makes sure your CDs sound pristine.

Within its ultra slim main unit, the power sliding door will open to reveal a Blu-ray Disc player for all your high definition movie needs. No idea on whether this one will work with VUDU services in the future, but we won’t rule it out just yet. Other functions include a Universal Dock for iPod, an SD memory , and a USB terminal.
