The Nokia N97 Mini in white to customers from 6 November 2009.Phones 4U also enjoyed an 8-week exclusive on the white version of the original N97 starting back in June this year. Said to be “one of Phones 4U’s most successful handset launches to date”, the retailer is hoping the white model of the mini-me handset will prove simialarly popular. With stainless steel cues and sleek white casing, the white Nokia N97 Mini is available now free on a £35 a month contract on Orange or Vodafone.  Among the changes for the N97 with firmware 2.0 are “flip scrolling”, similar to the kinetic scroll on the iPhone, the latest Ovi Maps 3.1 with 3D mapping, Nokia Messaging and Ovi Contacts.  There’s also the newest version of the Ovi Store, Nokia’s download center, together with further personalization of the homescreen.  The new firmware can be downloaded via a PC and updated with the Nokia Software Update tool, or directly OTA from the N97 itself.
