Psystar’s Lethal Blow

fd_250x159
Famous for having the cajones to sell Mac clones, it seems that Psystar has finally been dealt the death blow by Apple. The Cupertino corporation has won a permanent injunction against the Florida-based company to prevent it from selling machines running on the Mac OS platform. 2010-Volkswagen-Tiguan-Track-Avenue-Front-Angle-View-588x422
Volkswagen has unveiled its special edition Tiguan model range, the Tiguan Track & Avenue. The Tiguan Track & Avenue can be ordered in four engine-transmission combinations, all of them with a 6-speed gearbox. For example, the 2.0 TSI engine (147 kW / 200 PS) may be combined with a manual or automatic transmission. Two diesel engines with 2.0 l displacement complete the programme: the 103 kW / 140 PS engine paired with an automatic and the more powerful variant with a manual gearbox and 125 kW / 170 PS. The Volkswagen new Tiguan Track & Avenue rides on standard 19-inch “Savannah” alloy wheels. Two special exterior colours are being offered on this very expressive off-roader: “Oryx White Pearl Effect” and “Island Grey Pearl Effect”. The package also includes a 25 degree off-road front end, modest wheel flares and a silver-coloured diffuser.

EVIL cameras for 2010

b001
Good examples are the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 and the Olympus E-P2 Micro Four Thirds snappers. But we’ve heard rumors that other brands may soon follow with their own versions, with Samsung leading the way. Last year, the Korean chaebol announced its plans for the NX system, which is similar to Micro Four Thirds format. While it’s been very quiet this year, we’ve heard rumors that the firm will be announcing the hybrid camera in the first quarter of 2010. Next up is Sony. The Japanese electronics giant had expressed interested in manufacturing Micro Four Thirds like shooters and rumor site SonyAlphaRumors claims we can expect the company to unveil its EVIL camera next March.
