BenQ’s “World’s Slimmest” 21.5-inch Monitor

BenQ announced the V2220, what it claims is the world’s slimmest 21.5-inch LCD monitor. The flagship V2220 model–just one of an entirely new V series, including an 18.5-inch N920, 23-inch V2320 and 24-inch V2420–is just 15mm thick. Models with an “H” designation also offer HDMI and headphone connection options.
NEC MultiSync PA241W delivers 1080p resolution and 178-degree

NEC announced the successor to its MultiSync 90 series of professional displays, the Multisync PA241W. The display features 102 percent coverage of NTSC and 99.3 percent of Adobe RGB standards. According to NEC, this is an increase from 72 percent in the MultiSync LCD2490WUXi?. NEC also claims a 38 percent smaller footprint size.

* 10-bit IPS LCD panel with 14-bit lookup table

* 1,000:1 contrast ratio

* DisplaySync Pro, which controls two computers with one keyboard and mouse
* 3D lookup table, which NEC says enables accurate representation of hard-to-match color spaces
* ICC profile emulation, which loads ICC color profiles to accurately support manufacturer color spaces
* Color Vision Emulation, which allows a quick preview of colors that emulate color vision problems
* Ambient light sensor and automatic backlight adjustment for use in any lighting condition
* Carbon footprint meter, which allows users to easily track carbon savings
