Sony’s new Vaio E series is a chilli padi or jalapeno with its range of striking shades–and we do mean striking. Forget all you’ve learnt about designs having to blend into the environment. The tones that the Vaio E laptops come in are as subtle as neon signs in New York’s Fifth Avenue. The Vaio E starts at US$799.99 when it hits US stores in March, while we’re still in the dark about Asia pricing and availability.

Lenovo laptops with Core i3 processors

Amid news that they’ve got some extra third-quarter profits, Lenovo is continuing the good news with the announcement of three new ThinkPads for us: the T410i, T410si and T510i. The namesake for the new ThinkPad triplets is the 2.13GHz Intel Core i3-330M processor inside.
